My current research ideas are set out below. Prospective students or collaborators are welcome to contact me about these:
1. Reviewing the literature on the effects of evidence use and evidence-based practice on human and environmental outcomes.
2. Evaluation of whether evidence use actually leads to better outcomes or not using both experimental and observational approaches.
3. Evaluation of Large Language Models’ abilities to extract information on study quality and critically appraise studies compared to human experts.
4. Quantifying the adoption of evidence-based practice in conservation.
